To encourage the traditional folk artistes, and to revive the dying Folk Art forms and for the enjoyment of the Public, Folk Art programmes were conducted between 6 P.M and 8 P.M and the dates are 19.12.2009, 26.12.2009, 02.01.2010, 23.1.2010, 30.1.2010, 06.02.2010 at Eliat's Beach, Besent Nagar with the financial assistance of South Zone Cultural Centre.

Through this pogramme awareness to encourage folk arts is created among the people. The public enjoyed very much and the chennai people come to know the various folk art forms of Tamilnadu.
